What is Vacation Ownership?
Vacation Ownership is a simple concept. You avoid the
yearly expense of maintaining a wholly owned luxury vacation home. You simply
pay for the time you wish to use in one of our cozy and comfortable Bermuda
Cottages. You may vacation at The St. George's Club every year, or trade
weeks to other destinations worldwide.
Why choose Vacation Ownership?
Your future vacations are locked in at today's prices. You
can buy Vacation Ownership at a fraction of the cost of owning a vacation
home. Luxurious cottages are truly a home away from home and are equipped
with kitchens, spacious living areas, and separate living areas. Vacation
Ownership resorts are located in the most desirable destinations around the
world.
What Ownership is available?
There are limited weeks available for purchase in the 71
existing one and two bedroom cottages. When you purchase membership, you own
the right to use your cottage during your week, and the full facilities of
The St. George's Club.
Can I purchase more than one week?
You may purchase as many weeks as you wish at The St.
George's Club up to a maximum of 6 months.
What privileges come with ownership?
You have the right to use your unit and all of the
amenities and facilities of The St. George's Club. Some levels of membership
include enrolment with our private travel & cruise club, and golf
membership at Riddell's Bay Golf & Country Club.
Do family members have privileges?
Yes. Any family members or friends staying with you are
entitled to use any of the resorts amenities and facilities.
Are there annual maintenance fees?
Yes. They vary according to the size and type of the
cottage.
How are the maintenance fees determined?
The maintenance fees are the cost of operating,
maintaining and improving the resort and are determined by the Managing Agent
and the Developer.
What if I am unable to use my week?
You may give your weeks to friends or family members to
use.
You may rent out your week. You may exchange your week through
RCI to go to another resort. You may exchange your week internally and come
to The St. George's Club at a different time of year if space is available.
Can I sell my week?
You may sell your week at any time. Call us to discuss all
of your options.
Is Vacation Ownership an Investment?
You should not think of Vacation Ownership as something to
buy today and sell tomorrow for a profit (in fact The Club rules and
regulations prohibit you from doing this). The money one uses to invest in
Vacation Ownership are dollars that would be otherwise spent on hotel
receipts
What is the Hillside Development?
The Hillside Development consists of 8 luxuriously appointed
two bedroom lock-off units. Each suite features an open plan kitchen and
living area with state of the art plasma screen TV's, washer & dryer, and
fireplace. The beautiful master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with over
sized tub. The guest bedroom can be "locked-off" and becomes a separate
studio suite complete with kitchen, ideal for friends or families vacationing
together.
